08.00 Your breakfast starts on the coast of the Drina River bank in a relaxing atmosphere of our camp. Near the camp, Drina is formed by the rivers Piva and Tara, creating one of the most vivid rivers of Europe. Our adventure will take place right on the Drina River, actually on the Drina Lake in Višegrad. Activities that are waiting for us are boat cruise, visiting the Drina’s bridge (the bridge from the 16th century) and Andrićgrad (the only city in the world built in the honour of the Nobel winner – writer Ivo Andrić.
11:00 Višegrad
11.00 We come to Višegrad, where we will freshen up in a restaurant by the Drina River and the stone bridge, built in 1577 as a legacy of Mehmed Paša Sokolović, Turkish vizier originating from the area of Višegrad. Before we embark on a boat, we will visit Andrićgrad, which is located near the bridge. Andrićgrad has become one of the most popular destinations in this part of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and besides Andrić’s monument and others, there is Andrić’s Institute, a library and many other entertainment facilities.
Time to go back to your Drina cruise adventure. During embarking you will meet an experienced boat captain, who will tell you something more about places that you may find interesting. We will cruise through an untouched nature followed by a light breeze and river sounds from the Drina Bridge to the mouth of the Žepa River. Lunch is planned in nature in the middle of the cruise canyon and on our menu there is fresh Drina’s fish or something according to your taste.
17:00 Povratak u kamp
17.00 Drina cruise ends up around 5 o’clock and we go back to camp where you can have activities you prefer.
