Trnovačko lake is set on the 1.517 meters above sea level. Lake is often frozen during winter and snow sometimes stays until summer. Lake is surrounded by mountain massifs whose peaks are over 2000m. Trnovacko lake is surrounded by mountains: Maglić, Bioč, Volujak, Vlasulja, Trnovački Durmitor.

8.00 Breakfast in camp and arrival to Prijevor
8.00 Wake up with our domestic coffee and middle strong breakfast because today we go hiking through two National parks to Trnovačko lake (1517m above sea level), mountain lake in the shape of a heart. As you go on the main road from the camp, you will come to Tjentičte, the seat of the National park of Sutjeska, from where we are continuing our journey along the curved mountain road. You will have two short breaks on viewpoints from where you can see the parts of the rainforest Perućica. As we pass one of the last rainforests of Europe, we will come on plateau Prijevor, a wonderful place for photos. From that point we start hiking.
10.00 Prijevor – Trnovačko lake
10.00 Guide will give you a short instruction and check your equipment. A medium easy hiking tour to Trnovačko lake is in front of us, which leads through forest by its one part. Road to the lake lasts for around two hours, depending on your form and requests such as taking photos etc.
12.00 Lunch on the lake coast
You will come to one of the most beautiful mountain lakes of this part of the world. Water in the lake is crystal clear, so we suggest swimming in lake after your break from hiking. Lunch is on the lake coast, where you can see the mountain massif Maglić, the biggest peak of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
14.00 Back to Prijevor
14.00 Time flies quickly when you are surrounded by such natural beauty. Time to go back to Prijevor and then back to camp by off road vehicles.
17.00 Back to camp and dinner
