Two days rafting expedition through the entire navigable part of the River Tara Canyon

For those who want more than just a short commercial rafting, to really feel the unique canyon of the Tara river, and sleep in a wooden motel that is located in the heart of the canyon. Than this rafting offer is a real thing for you. Spend two days on the amazing river rafting and discover the magic of the clean mountain river in the deepest Europa’s canyon and one of the deepest canyons of the world.
Arrival at the camp was recommended to 20:00, just in time to have dinner and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of the camp on the river bank. Our cooks prepare the most delicious traditional dishes that you must try. Overnight in bungalows, wooden cottages, mountain huts which are typical for this area. Breakfast is scheduled from 7 to 8 pm, and our recommendation is to get up early and make the morning for true enjoyment. We recommend stronger traditional breakfast and homemade coffee. In the meantime, you can join your rafting guide, who will give you more information. Tour schedule:

09.00 with terrain vehicles we leave the camp and drive toward Šljivansko, the starting point of today’s adventure. A road to Šljivanskog leads through the picturesque landscapes of the canyon of Piva river, Piva lake and dam, Piva mountain, via village Planica, and Todorov dol offering a view of the Prutaš – one of the most beautiful peaks of Durmitor National Park. During the trip short photo breaks are planed. A twenty-minute break is planned on the bridge Djurdjevic Tara, a place where you can enjoy a great view of the river Tara and the deepest canyon in Europe. As you wish, we are able to organize lowering ZipLine with an additional cost of 20 € per person. The starting point of rafting, Šljivansko, is located three kilometres upstream from the bridge Djurdjevic Tara. Upon arrival to the rafting starting position, your raft guide will talk briefing on safety rules and regulations during the rafting at the national park, and you’ll replace your clothes for suitable equipment that you borrowed before from the rafting guide. In order to do this whitewater trip safe and enjoyable, it is essential to follow the instructions of your rafting guide.

12:00 Today’s rafting adventure, depending on the water level, the number of pauses and your pedalling, takes 3-7 hours. During the rafting on this part of the river, you will have the opportunity to see the shortest river in Europa, the big bridge over Tara River, natural phenomena Black and White springs and many other natural phenomena, about which you will find out more from your rafting guide. During the trip, it is planned to have more short breaks for photo shooting and swimming, as well as a longer break for sandwiches.

18:00 the indicative time for coming to Radovan Luka.
Radovan Luka is a place where we will spend the night in a wooden motel which is located on the Tara river bank. In Tepca, isolated village in the heart of the canyon. This place is known as the point at which the Tara canyon reaches a depth of over 1,300 meters. Your wardrobe, as well as clean towels and bed linen, await you in a your room where you will spend the night. Because your guide is also your cook, you will have enough time for a pleasant stroll along the river or other leisure activities, while he and the motel staff are preparing everything ready for the dinner in a canyon. After dinner, we continue socializing next to a pleasant outdoor campfire.

THE NEXT DAY

08:00 Start your day with a short walk by the river, give your legs and breathe fresh air.It will wake you up and open your appetite. Breakfast is another opportunity for your guide to demonstrate their culinary skills.The rafting trip is tentatively scheduled for 10:00 Second rafting day includes passing the most beautiful part of the river Tara canyon, its deepest part of 1,300 meters. Before entering the canyon you will have few attractive rapids and jump spot old line bridge. At this point, we organize a short break for swimming, jumping from the hanging line bridge and photo shooting. Further down the river, we have no less attractive locations that words can hardly describe. The most famous among them are Bajilovica Sige, cave lake which flows down to Tara River and makes big waterfall cascades 100 meters wide and 20 meters in height depending on the amount of water. Must see the place!Photos from Bajilovica sige are something that all visitors want to have in their travel album. But this place is only accessible by the river boat. After a few hours of paddling in the fresh air, all rafting participants get hungry. So it has become a tradition to make a break for lunch packages in place Brštanovica. To charge the batteries, because there starts the part with the best rapids on the river. From Radovan Luka to the Scepan Polje you will pass through a total of 29 rapids which will raise the level of adrenaline in your body and make this adventure unforgettable. But just from Brstanovica to Scepan Polje part you will have to do 22 rapids.The rafting trip takes 4-7 hours depending on water levels and your rowing opportunities. Together with the flow of the river Tara, our adventure ends in the Scepan Polje where rivers Tara and Piva make confluence and from there it is NOW Drina River and all Bosnia and Herzegovina. Here we organize lunch at the camp on the river bank where you can expect a delicious and rich traditional meal. After lunch, free activities at the camp.
