After visiting monument on Tjentište, we will go to the National park Sutjeska. Bicycle tour starts from the place Čemerno. Ride through curved roads to the heart of Zelengora, enjoy the beautiful view, and you can also swim in the lake Jugovo.
A BICYCLE TOUR “ZELENGORA”
8.00 Breakfast in camp
8.00 After the night spent in camp or coming in early hours, we recommend you a traditional breakfast and coffee. With the relaxing sounds of nature plan your details of today’s adventure with your guide. You will ride your bicycles on Zelengora, the beauty of all mountains. This tour is especially attractive because of the approachable ground and pleasant summer temperatures that are bearable even in the middle of summer.
9.00 Departure to the National Park Sutjeska
9.00 We leave the camp by off road vehicles and go to the National Park Sutjeska, the biggest and the most beautiful nature parks in Bosnia and Herzegovina. We will make a break in place Tjentište, so you could have an opportunity to visit a huge monument from the Second World War. Monument is made of white marble and there is a museum and memorial Kosturnica within.
10.00 Beginning of the bicycle tour
10.00 In place Čemerno we come off to Zelengora along the old road. From that point we continue our ride by bicycles. After a short ride, we will come to the well of Neretva, a mountain river whose flow ends in Adriatic Sea. We continue down the macadam road as beautiful views open in front of us. As mountain peaks shine above us, a curved road leads us to the heart of Zelengora. After a two-hour ride, Jugovo lake is in front of us, a mountain lake where you can swim. Not far from it, there is Orlovačko lake, a mountain pearl in pedestal of Orlovac and Ljeljen.
13.00 Lunch on the coast of Orlovačko lake
13.00 Lunch in nature, on the coast of Orlovačko lake. It is time to make a break and have a lunch because there are more adventures waiting. After the break we continue with conquesting Zelengora. Road leads over the place Palež, to the other side of the mountain. We will have a two-hour ride through the seat of Zelengora, and as we pass by green surfaces and giant mountain peaks. A part of the route leads through forest so the ride on sunny day will be a great pleasure. Leaving Zelengora, we continue to village Jažići, a stop by destination to place Miljevina, from where we go bz off road vehicles to camp and finish our today’s adventure. If you wish we can visit Sand Pyramids that are set in village Daničići, near Miljevina.
