8.00 Breakfast in camp
8.00 Breath in the fresh air next to the river. That will wake you up and open your appetite. We recommend you a strong traditional breakfast because there is a day full of unforgettable adventurous in front of you that require a lot of physical effort. Enjoy having a tea or coffee on the morning wind in camp on the river coast. Pack your staff and we would recommend you to bring your photo equipment with you because you will go through the most nature beautiful area of Montenegro.
11.00 Durmitor
11.00 It’s time to start today’s adventure. We go from the camp by off road vehicles on journey that lasts more than one hour. The road leads through raw, but still beautiful canyon of the river Piva, mountain beauty which makes the river Drina together with the river Tara. Going along the canyon, we will come to dam and hydro power plant Mratinje, a giant titan who tamed the mountain river. The road from dam leads along Pivsko lake, one of the biggest water reservoirs of Europe. On the half road we will turn to curved path of the Pivska mountain, which leads to the National park Durmitor, over the village Trs that is as made for photo safari. We will leave our off road vehicle in the village Sedlo, and continue our adventure on feet. A hiking tour lasting around three hours, through one of the most beautiful areas of Durmitor, is in front of us.
Going through pearl of Dinarska mountain, you will forget that you are overcoming a height difference from over 900 meters. We will make few breaks before we come to the top, and people usually use them to take photos of wonderful areas of Durmitor rather than to have a rest.
We will make a break for a snack nest to the mountain lake and after that we have a bit more hiking. The peak of Durmitor, Bobotov Kuk, gives you an opportunity to have a view of natural pearls of this part of Europe. A photograph from this massive giant is something you should definitely have. After that, we will go to our vehicles. We know that you will be full of impressions but save some space for more. Sunset on Žabljak is something really worth seeing.
